One- to multi-day production. Calm, low-fuss sets. Photography, motion and reel-native content captured in one go.
Colour-graded photography, cinematic edits and platform-ready cutdowns. Delivered via Frame.io (video) and a private gallery (stills).

The director
Fōkasu is a creator-led studio, not an agency. The person who answers your enquiry is the person who shoots your job, directs the edit and ships the final files. I'm Jacobe Marsh (he/him) — director of Fōkasu Collective, shooting surf, travel and hospitality campaigns across Australia, Bali and North America. A small, hand-picked crew comes in when scope demands it.

FAQ
Mini shoots can lock a date inside a week. Campaigns and retainers usually plan 3-6 weeks ahead. If you're up against a hard deadline, say so in the brief and we'll tell you straight whether we can help.
All three — photography, brand films and creator-led UGC, captured in one shoot and one visual language. Most clients hire us instead of stitching together a separate photographer, videographer and UGC freelancer for the same launch.
Yes — USA and Canada are core travel markets (recent: Timberland, Kelowna BC), and we shoot selected Europe on brief, mostly France and Portugal during the summer window. AU domestic travel is built into the quote; international travel is added at cost and itemised, never marked up. Plan international shoots 4–6 weeks ahead so we can stack neighbouring clients into the trip.
One director, one creative direction, every format. The director shoots and oversees every edit. We bring a small crew when scope demands it — never a faceless agency team.
Two rounds of revisions are included on every project. Most clients use one. Frame.io for video review, a private gallery with selects for stills.

Yes. Standard delivery includes full commercial usage on owned channels and paid social. Extended licensing (OOH, third-party syndication, billboards) is quoted separately and itemised.
Edited masters always. Raw files on request, quoted as a one-off licence — most clients don't need them and they're a storage and version-control headache you don't want.
Outdoor shoots have a built-in weather contingency window. We watch the forecast 7 days out and pivot dates inside the contingency at no extra cost. Beyond that we reschedule on the next mutually available date.
An agency adds account management, review layers and overhead — the person you brief is rarely the person who shoots. A freelancer is one specialist — usually photo or video, not both. Fōkasu is one director plus a small crew, capturing every format you need in one shoot, with no middle layer.
Retainers are 3-month minimum, then rolling month-to-month. 30 days' notice to pause or cancel — no exit fees, no lock-in beyond the initial 90 days.
50% deposit to lock the date, 50% on final delivery. Retainers are billed monthly in advance. AU businesses are invoiced in AUD with GST; international clients in AUD or USD by request. Bank transfer or Wise.
